I/We (purchaser(s) intend and desire to provide humane care
to the feral horse(s) listed. I/We understand that this/these
horse(s) is/are wild, ungentle animals, and due to their age and
temperament may never become accustomed to human contact or be
trainable for handling like domestic livestock. I/We also
understand that I/we need adequate facilities to contain and
care for these animals. I/we acknowledge that the seller makes
no express or implied warranties as to the merchantability of
fitness for any particular purpose for any feral horses
purchased under this program. I/we have read the above statement
and understand these terms and conditions.
I/We certify that the horse(s) is/are not purchased for the
purpose of slaughter or auction at a commercial sale; further
will not be resold for these purposes.
Any questions concerning the terms and conditions above may
be directed to Michael Holmes, Manager, VRE Program or Don
Henderson, Director, Nevada Department of Agriculture.
The feral horse(s) listed shall no longer be considered to be
a wild free-roaming horse. Sale of the animal(s) is final upon
pick-up and will be the responsibility of the purchaser. This
bill of sale must be accompanied by a valid Brand Inspection
Clearance Certificate identified as a change of ownership;
signed by an authorized agent of the Nevada Department of
Agriculture pursuant to NRS 565.100.
